How I can reduce traffic congestion using the GPS device?
I live in a third world country (Dhaka, Bangladesh). Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. pron country is really a jam. Our system is based traffic monitoring human. well, I need full chat system or anything well. thanks in advance.
I live in Dhaka and I am also frustrated by the huge traffic jam that we experience here in workdays. I was in 1977-1979 Iran and Tehran's traffic jams in those days was notorious standard. There were so many good roads and flyovers some, but was stalled capital due to congestion on the road. The same is repeated in Bangkok and other cities in the world, in spite of these cities and countries have much higher path and signals traffic police supervision of the miserable conditions we have here in Dhaka, Bangladesh. To compound our misery VVIP entourage (Mostly the President and Prime Minister-most) congested roads are closed so that a convoy can go 100km/hr on highways free to attend "important" functions, one of these were part of (Awami League) the function held in China, Bangladesh Friendship Hall (now renamed Banga Bandhu … a generic prefix these days to name something important). I suggest that all schools move to a suitable distance from each of the residential areas, as Dhanmondi, Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Uttara, Mogh Bazar, Khilgaon, Mirpur, Mohammadpur City Bus etc student services would be available so that parents need not submit cars, rickshaws, Bikes and transport for the movement of students each. The second alternate is to maximize the use of Circular Waterway (which has been abandoned these days), circular road, run the train etc. so that the reasonable number of people can access the point of its business comes from outside periphery of the city, and do not cross busy streets to reach their destinations. We must have more flyovers and in many viaduct to make a dent in reducing traffic congestion. The railroad was extended until this track Kamalapur railway station is bone of contentions in the setting of a jam. You will find that the 5 to 10 bogies (local or express or freight trains) will be plunged into a slower pace, while the level crossing gates remain down by about 10-20 minutes to the inconvenience of the road users. Steps are planned higher in higher-level crossings, but you can see that the Government has not yet been put to a Kakoli (near the Army Stadium) level crossing that straddles on our main road leading to the airport. By the way, have you noticed how the heart of our road system has been "controlled facilities Army and police in their cantonment, BDR and Ansar in Pilkhana also Khilgaon? Do I need those forces to live and do their exercises (PT Parade etc) when people are hungry and not very convenient in traffic jams that are the holders of the main roads? Who gets these giants outside the busy city areas? The police station is needed and what they have in their present locations in Rajarbagh, but they have no need for the property occupied by large patio such weapons and solemn ceremonies. Hope we are having better days ahead, but very doubtful. A complete system can not come in a package, but small improvements to the existing network of large infusion of money to upgrade the road and rail infrastructure that someday minimize unsustainable situation in which current ow.
