Better Business Bureau, or similar, in the UK?
Here's my situation (and the situation of many others) … I paid $ 400 for a Nokia N810 Internet Tablet, which has a GPS receiver built in. To use GPS for directions, you have to subscribe to Wayfinder software, amounting to $ 139 for a three-year license (you can look at a map and see where you are free, that's all). This software is sub-par Wayfinder – The only advantage over open source software mapping (Maemo Mapper) is voice-guided directions, and runs a bit smoother. But it's definitely not worth the penalty "subscribe" to, or pay anything extra for nothing … visible map shrinks to half the size of the screen, and the maps are outdated. In th …. e point that I can report this from Wayfinder is based in the UK? I tell this to the Better Business Bureau, but I'm not sure if they handle things like this. And it is exactly a trade issue … Right? Any help / advice (other than "trying to Maemo Mapper") would be great!
The equivalent to the BBB in the UK is an organization called "What?", the link to which is provided below. You can file your complaint.
