Advice on a GPS?
My parents want to buy a GPS system but do not know what the value of the dollars. I'm not aware of the systems GPS and trademarks. Is there any that are updated on the computer for more of? I just want anything fancy just simple directions to get somewhere place and easy to use. Also one can probably speak Spanish and English. Perhaps also something that can go around the world such as Mexico, as they are there and go visit. Any advice on a good fair price that I'm grateful. I was also thinking about the range of my max $ 120 and below. I know that systems GPS techonolgoy have diminished as always falls out when I think things that were very high at $ 200 and 100 are now worth even less. There is also the most expensive having to do with the brand quality and more choices. Also a good size screen, probably from 6 inchs and up. Best answer gets 10 points!
Garmins are good products, but I think Tom Tom is easier to use. And given the name of individuals who responded to think it might be abouve slightly biased. I say go for something like http://www.amazon.com/TomTom-Widescreen-Bluetooth-Navigator-Refurbished/dp/B00181DFMA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1242353478&sr=1-7 Just know that no matter who you end up buying from Mexico maps will cost. They only come with U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. I would expect $ 15 – $ 30.
