How To Find The Right Gps System
How I can find the GPS device?
For the birthday of my husband, he really wants a GPS system TomTom or Garmin. I've been watching around, but I'm getting confused. My husband wants a GPS that mounts on the car, but you can also use while hiking or camping. Most devices that have been looking at say they are "portable", but when I look at the specifications, there is no mention of being able to use the GPS outside vehicle. Please help me! Thank you.
This is confusing. Portable means you can only carry. How far is it going from the car? How much time is out? All drive devices can be used outside the car. The problem is the power of the battery. They are only useful for about 4 hours from power. You can consider taking a larger battery. That makes it heavy. Or you can get a hand held unit that can be loaded and used in the car. Make sure to get one that can be easily programmed. That is most of them. Then put the map where you want to use. One is used to drive when in the car. Used one for hiking when out of the car. The biggest difference is price and battery life. You're not really going to go wrong. Just make some decisions. Talk to a sales representative. Check out some websites. They even have contact information. You can ask questions on business. You can get what fits your needs.
