Gps Chartplotter Fishfinder
Boat electronics, which one would you suggest?
I have a fisher 20 ft bay boat 2007. I spend much time in the water, mainly by inshore fisheries in flamenco and I have a small 5 on Humminbird Gps / fishfinder. I want to upgrade my electronics I go with Humminbird 997c SI Combo NVB or Lowrance HDS-8 Fishfinder / Chartplotter GPS?
In addition to the comments RICSUDUK look at both sites of the company, I went with the Lowrance and reason I did, I think we always have more fuel than me. Displaying the Lowrance is good, the allocation is large, built in GPS could not be happier with, and mine as well be connected with the radar if you want to add that. What I like is the complement of indicators that will monitor my fuel, consumption and the expected distance and Hummingbird oil tank has the same matter, the electronic engine connects to my Merc, and put a lot of functions in one place. but the indicators are Hummingbird 800 each, and therefore requires 2 to leave the Lowrance in a much lower cost and, like around 160 range. So if you're looking for a fish finder, I like the idea of 3D, but have no personal experience, nor any of my friends. But I like the additional electronics provided by Lowrance, including if I'm stuck with a conventional view of the bottom. Hummingbird I tried to find things, but could not, it's a shame that wanted to show you both.
